Rice Is Life

I once saw a sign in West Africa that said "Rice is Life." Rice is the main food in most, if not all of the coutries that I have visited in Africa. While I was in Madagascar, I learned how to plant and harvest rice. It was very hard work and I have a new respect for those that I see working in the fields planting and harvesting rice. I will never look at rice in the same way!
